August 25, 2010 Check out an interview of Ethan Daniels on SeaChange Radio as he speaks about his latest book as well as on marine issues around the world. July 15, 2010 I have just returned from French Polynesia where I spent a week "chasing" a total solar eclipse that occured July 11th at approximately 8:30 am 160 miles southeast of Tahiti. This was my second eclipse and, as you can see from the images, it was spectacular. I'm hoping to get the chance to see my third on November 12th, 2012 off of Cairns, Australia. Other news, this month's Cape Cod Life magazine has my image on its cover! Also, the issue highlights my book, Under Cape Cod Waters. June 28, 2010 Just back from Boston where I was promoting Under Cape Cod Waters, I'm now looking at packing again for French Polynesia. The trip will begin in Tahiti and our goal is to be in the best possible position to witness the 2010 total solar eclipse. This will be my 2nd total eclipse and I'm excited. Other news, one of my Jellyfish Lake images is in the Exposure section of Outside Magazine's July issue and EZ Dive Magazine's latest issue has text and images from Cabilao, PI. Now off to begin packing...

Dec. 18, 2009 Wow. It's almost the end of the year and it's hard to believe that I'll be home for more than a few weeks. Having just returned to Berkeley from Cabilao, Philippines I am now doing my best to finish off various projects and begin new ones for 2010 and beyond. 2010 will be another crazy year with lots of travel to destinations such as the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Palau, Cape Cod, Alaska, and probably somewhere in South America. Armed with a new drysuit I'm ready for the colder climes! Whatever the case, keep your eye out for Under Cape Cod Waters due out in early 2010!
